Practical Coaching Network

Coaching for people doing hard, practical work.

Most coaching sells clarity. This sells completion. You come in with something specific you have to get done, we name the work it takes, and then you do it — with someone in the room who has done it before.

What I coach

The network is new and deliberately narrow. Partner development is the category I am opening with, because it is the one I have done longest. Others are being added.

Partner Development

Raising the funding your calling requires — budget, contact list, presentation, the ask, and the follow-through. A named path with the hours written down.

Something adjacent?

If the work in front of you is close to this but not quite it, ask. I would rather tell you plainly that I am not the right coach than sell you a session.

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

    A first conversation

Free, about 30 minutes. You describe the work in front of you; I tell you plainly whether coaching is the right tool for it.

  2. 2

    Prep work you actually do

Coaching is not a lecture series. Each session has assigned work before it, and the hours are named up front so you can plan them.

  3. 3

    Sessions on a schedule

We meet, review what you built, fix what is not working, and set the next block of work.

  4. 4

    You finish the thing

The goal is not insight. The goal is a funded budget, a working plan, a finished launch — whatever you came in for.

Who runs this

Coaching from someone who had to do it first.

Practical Coaching Network is run by Tom Lee. Alongside this practice he serves as a missionary and hub director in Thailand — which is where the partner development curriculum came from: not a seminar, but years of raising support and then teaching other people to raise theirs.

No pitch on the first call. Tell me what you are trying to finish and I will tell you whether I can help.
